Opened in 2021 by Pietro Porrini—also the owner of Ristorante Da Pietro—POPUP, Pizza & Cocktail Society began as a temporary restaurant and quickly evolved into a permanent hotspot. “The project’s energy won everyone over, turning it into a go-to place for those seeking an international and convivial atmosphere where pop cuisine meets creative cocktails,” explains the young entrepreneur from Como.

Inspired by the legacy of Ristorante Da Pietro, POPUP embraces the concept of “drinking well,” through combinations that fuse tradition and innovation. The menu takes guests on a journey of authentic and inventive flavors, ranging from artisanal pizzas to comfort food and finger food. The pizzas, made with high-hydration dough and select flours, stand out for their lightness and the use of premium ingredients, such as tomatoes from Basilicata and local fiordilatte cheese. The Margherita, a symbol of simplicity, celebrates the quality of its ingredients. Other irresistible options include burgers, tacos, and crispy fries.
