Vanini

Great innovators, but always respecting tradition, the oil mill has long been a reference point and place of professional and passionate production, so much so that it was awarded the gold medal at the 1905 Paris Expo. The flavour of the oil derives from olive trees nurtured in the gentle, breezy environment of the lake.

The slightly herbaceous touch that the dressing gives to dishes is the result of expert harvesting, careful pressing and safe and hygienic bottling, with no contact with external oxygen. In Lenno the tradition has been handed down and continues today in the family oil mill, where the olives are processed after hand stripping from the trees on the banks of the lake.

The recently renovated plant, with two-stage decanter and stone mill with cold extractor, produces a fruity oil, with artichoke and sweet almond flavours, and a hint of spice.
