Onda

A place for friends to meet, relax, and enjoy themselves at any time of day: that’s how young owners Glauco Noseda, Nathan, Jacopo and Moritz Martignoni like to describe Onda—a historic hotspot in Cernobbio and a landmark for both locals and the many visitors who have come to know and love it over the years.

Since its relaunch in 2023, Onda has embraced a renewed identity while staying true to its roots. It offers fresh and surprising experiences throughout the day—whether it’s dinner with friends, a sunset aperitif or a private event. More than just a bar and restaurant, it’s a creative hub where music, food and people come together to spark unforgettable moments.

The kitchen, led by Executive Chef Andrea Stivaletta, is inspired by Italian tradition, with dishes that celebrate authentic flavors and a menu that evolves with the seasons. Light, slow-fermented pizzas are one of the highlights, while a curated selection of wines—ranging from prestigious maisons to boutique producers—alongside expertly crafted cocktails, completes the experience in true American bar style.

Recognized for its wave-like architecture, Onda mirrors the lively spirit of Como and its lake. Inside and out, the space blends vintage and contemporary design, creating an atmosphere that feels both stylish and effortlessly holiday-like. When summer arrives, Onda comes alive with music. The iconic “Giovedì dell’Onda” has welcomed world-renowned artists such as Alan Sorrenti and Johnson Righeira, as well as emerging talents already making waves on the European underground scene like Tommi Boy. Other highlights include “Sunday On The Lake”, a vibrant pop event for younger crowds and Fridays dedicated to vinyl, exploring the culture of the listening bar.
